Ok I'm officially out to my best friend. It was so corny. I wrote her a poem ('cause thats my thing), telling her that I love her, but that I'm not in love with her. Anyways, after school I had this big speech planned, but since we were rushing and there were some people around, then I showed her something and then I said, "I'm gay". She hugged me and told me that nothing changes. Now she can keep her title as the only girl I have or will kiss. I'm so happy right now!
Congrats on your first coming out !! (*hug*) It's always harder at first but the rush you get after coming out is great I'm glad it went well for you, you have a great friend !
Excellent news We need more positive stories on here! I encourage everyone to post there coming out stories, especially if they have been good!
The first time I came out to my friends was a little hard it felt as if I was coming out to myself also. I've always known I liked girls that I wanted to be with a girl fantisized It but I never spoke of it or said anything to anyone. Now after I spoke to my friends it seems a little easier to live with the idea but so much things have happened since then that I get confused whether I'm lesbian or bi either way I know that I'm able to have strong feelings and conections with a girl and that makes me happy.
a poem--that's great!!! i would just get stuck on whether the poem is good or not. congratulations!!!
