    Wow. I didn't know Italy was that bad on LGBT rights, I always thought Italy was liberal like Spain.

    This is just one poor unfortunately soul, what's worse is that there are plenty others out there that we never hear about. This is truly tragic.

    Italy seems to be the anomaly of Western Europe, according to a few websites that I've read, LGBTing in Italy is not so good at the moment. :frowning2: Relationships aren't even legally recognised there yet, whereas France had the PACS in 99 and gay marriage was legal in Spain by 2005... Not good stuff :frowning2:

    Seems like LGBT people are dropping like flies recently. I don't get why people would go to the lengths to actually harass someone to this point, regardless of their views. This sucks too much.

    The really sad thing is that the tormentors feel so strongly about this that they'll devote their life making the other person's life as miserable as possible :frowning2: I don't understand where people would get the energy, let alone the motivation :frowning2:

    This is the same country that houses the Vatican. Even with Francis's stance saying who is he to judge, that's still more geared at gay priests.
