This made me pretty happy, but I thought it was more of a symbol of friendship in their culture (kind of like the French).

Could be (the kiss is more of a symbol of friendship in Russia than in the US), but many are suggesting this was more than that. Could be interesting if it's the latter.

Would've been more interesting had it been two guys. Homophobic men will likely just say "hot" and go on with their day.

let's just exploit this for our own benefit! :newcolor: (by that i mean it looks more like a friendly peck on the cheek)

Looking closely, I think you're right. Alas, not like it would've been that big of a deal even if they were doing it to "protest". Things will only keep getting worse and worse for Russian gays.

Even if it is just a friendly peck, people are correct.

This violates the Russian law that was just passed.

If anything, it will help show how idiotic the law is. Two friends can't have a friendly peck on the cheek or hold hands above their hands together, etc.

As it's "promoting the homosexual lifestyle" to minors, as it's televised.
