Yeah, there's really nothing redeemable about ohio, or most of the midwest for that matter. It's crazy that homophobia is still so entrenched, even in a city near a gay bar, that such a large group actually gathered to do this. I mean is anywhere safe? Really hope they get what's coming to them.
From Ariel Castro to Steubenville to this, Ohio will need to crank out one seriously good PR campaign to convince me to ever step foot there.
Dont be so dramatic. The midwest is diverse and great in many areas for lgbt people, certainly better than the south and western states. Cleveland is a shithole second worse city behind detroit, so im going to chalk this up to cleveland being shity.
