I liken this to a 5 year old brat being forced to share their toys. "But I don't wanna share with the gays! It's my toy! If they're allowed to play with it too then I'm not gonna play with it anymore! I'm gonna go make a new toy box that no one else is allowed to have!". Homophobia of this magnitude hurts the brain. :eusa_doh:

Not surprised, once this happened the leaders of our local troop quit and said they were starting a faith based one themselves, so, I'm not sure if the local troop still exists. I was a part of it once, several years ago but quit because I don't like the outdoors

 

We had a church-based scouting group when I was a teen. It was the AoG Royal Rangers. I shared a tent with my first oral sex partner.

 

I wonder how they'd respond to bronies trying to join? :lol:

why cant they just get along? is it that hard? its kind of funny that i dont see any gay-only scouts, just the bigots that like to discriminate like this

 

They told us in church that the Boy Scouts had become too secular. That's why they felt the need to start their own scouting group.

 

^ I love it when this stuff happens, because eventually they're going to get to a point where they can't get any stupider. When that happens I want to see what they do.

 

I hate it when people use their faith to justify discrimination. God created us all equal, who are we to say different.

 

They have the right, true, but it's a right to be able to do something that isn't right.

 

Why would anyone want to be part of something like the boyscouts? Do you really want to be around the kind of people you see in that article?

 

Oh good, I hope that they all leave the BSA, and with enough of the social conservatives gone, there can be more progress.
