Just saw this, no idea how old it really is, but it struck me in it's sweetness and I wanted to share. The only stumbling block for me was, really? Home Depot? How romantic! Your Evening Happy Cry: Man Proposes to Boyfriend via Rousing Dance Party
At least someone gets a happily ever after like in fairy tales. I would just settle for a plain proposal though I know it will never happen. June
Very cool, and awesome it happened in Salt Lake City of all places (though sadly they would have to go out of state to be "legal").
They are so adorable! Really, I was grinning stupidly the entire time. If I was in his place, I would probably be absolutely and completely embarassed though. (sigh) Thanks for sharing the Dragonbait!
I'm turning into a cry baby! Far out anything gay related like that at moment is making me sob like a hungry, angry baby!
OK...so now I'm just a big tear-soaked mess...and I have to get to work. Thanks, Dragonbait...no really; I enjoy being reduced to a big bowl of wibbly-wobbly jello...
This is so sweet. It's one of the most romantic proposals I've ever seen. Then again, I've only seen a dozen at most.
:icon_bigg Congrats, you've just wiped "Princess" from my brain. You're not a greatwhale, you're just a greatsap! Jello is good. I highly recommend you pick up some whip cream and a guy on your way home and make the most of it! ---------- Post added 13th Sep 2013 at 01:10 PM ---------- I know resu! I thought the exact same thing - actually adds to make it even more poignant, doesn't it?
One of the local news stations picked up the story; and I was happy to see the journalist who wrote their online article write without any suggestions this was unusual or "unnatural". I was very happy to see on Facebook that not only one of my friends in my current university posted the video but also one of my female cousins back in Oklahoma also did. I also enjoyed seeing those young (likely straight) boys also participating and not feeling ashamed; that's an age group where homophobia can run rampant.
I saw this online yesterday and thought it was super sweet especially when he came out with the sign saying " If I am good to you won't you to be me? " I started tearing up. I thought it was a bit weird it was at a Home Depot, but I'm sure there was a reason for it to happen there.
