LGBT News Pat Robertson: San Antonio Will Jail Christians Over Anti-Discrimination Law

I think Pat Robertson has officially gone off the rails. Again. He seems to forget about the First Amendment.

 

Good. Our livelihood is more important than their book of fables. And he's a liar; it's banning employment discrimination, not "speaking out."

 

Linden, Michigan, a town about 25 minutes to the west of where I'm originally from passed an anti-discrimination ordinance, and being in Republican la-la land, they're all screaming that banning discrimination is used to "attack Christian businesses."

That's the local newspaper from where I grew up. This is what the Republican base sounds like. More evidence that Christians are the most hateful group of people in the nation. Conservatives bitch and moan every Wednesday and Sunday about how Obama is a terrorist and that he's coming to take all your guns and that the Muslim is going to jail all Christians.

If you go up to the "Opinions" tab, click "Columnists," and then click "If I Were King," this guy sounds almost exactly like Stephen Colbert, only he actually believes what he says. He's so funny and when I moved away, I had to keep reading.

AwesomGaytheist, I checked out that site, and this is one of the responses. They act as if that's unreasonable. Refusing services to black people was also a choice.

 

I'm sure no one takes Pat Robertson seriously anymore. He's just an insane guy who made outrageous claims in the past, and they were a lot worse than this. He's lost a lot of people who listened to him over the past decades.

 

Ok apologies if this is going to sound dumb on a rather serious thread, I am not from the USA and till now didn't know who Pat Robinson was and I swear my mind quickly read Robert Pattinson and I was going all HUH? until I saw my mistake I just had to post this talk about mindgame ROFL
