If they could test for it medically, that would kind of rupture every homophobic argument i've heard, so good luck to them.

When I first heard 'Gulf States' I pictured Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi Alabama and Florida.

But whatever phoney-baloney 'medical' test they devise, these are the so-called more 'liberal' of Arab nations...pretty scary. Religion taken too far scares me; whether Christianity in the US south or Islam in the Persian Gulf.

"It’s illegal to be gay in 78 countries, with lesbianism banned in 49."

Haha. They like us better! (just kidding)

More like all the chauvinist pigs running those countries thinking they'll either be the ones to turn us or at the very least get us to perform for their viewing pleasure. I have had far too much personal experience with the sexism of the Muslim men native to the Gulf States to question why they would go easier on lesbians than gays.

The whole thing sickens me. But I am not in the last surprised. So sad. :frowning2:

So where can I get ahold of one of these tests? I think they would be very useful...

LOL, for a moment I got scared and thought this meant "Gulf states" as it refers to U.S. Gulf States in the South along the Gulf of Mexico (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama), which sadly wouldn't have been beyond the limits of belief.

But sadly when it comes to those other Gulf States in the Middle East, this doesn't shock me at all, being gay in those countries is horrible, it's already illegal and can get you the death penalty. I don't think this policy is all that bad actually, as I don't think any gay people should be risking going into those terrible countries anyway and end up getting arrested and executed.

One of the top rated comments:

"mickey, gloucester, United Kingdom, 3 hours ago
we should never have allowed gay marriage...it isn't right"

You know what else isn't right mate? You having the audacity to tell people they can or can't get married.

    Fuming.

It would poke a hole in all of those "It's a choice" arguments wouldn't it?
