"A lesbian in Washington, D.C., found a distasteful surprise when she opened a cake from a local bakery she'd ordered to celebrate her and her partner's anniversary."

Lesbian Appalled by Homophobic Anniversary Cake | Advocate.com

How childish can these morons be? How many things like this happen that we don't hear about? That shop was just hoping for a lawsuit I bet. They can claim they made a cake and offered a refund due to the "mistake".

Maybe this is the new tactic by these asshats. They'll lie and say they'll provide the service but do it wrong so at the last minute the GLBT customer won't have time to find a replacement. This will only cause anger, sadness and frustration, not change anyone's sexual orientation. If any of them think that is the right way to "live their faith" it just shows how far from the truth they really are.

That's got to be some of the most cowardly homophobia I've come across.

Having on cakewreck so much, I think this is just a cakewreck, but how do you confuse carrot and chocolate?

maybe the order taker or cake maker is really bad with common sense or follow instruction, idk

    Pathetic.
The excuse that the baker made a mistake seems rather flimsy.

Cowards..they hate what they don't understand. People of the LGBT community arent evil sinners, or acid spitting aliens. Peoples ignorance is an injustice to other people.

...I'm just concerned that they misspelled "balloons" as "ballons".
Seriously, though, to insult the sexuality of a paying customer is a really stupid business move, and it's rude.

They said they were gonna eat the cake anyway...I sure as hell wouldn't. It's literally a cake made with hate and it probably got spit on or something. If I knew who exactly did it, I'd go to the bakery and smash the cake in their face.

What's up with this homophobic cake trend?

Also, next time, they should avoid ordering a cake from Virginia, and go to a place in DC or Maryland, instead! Kidding, sort of...
