I can see it happening. Facebook is getting less popular (at least with the people I know) at a pretty quick rate, not to mention that I feel a lot of people are getting uncomfortable about privacy.

I'm tried of facebook no one talks to me on there and plus when i first started I was bored with that crap it's all about people's status and if you refuse to make a status about what's going on in your life people choose not to talk to you sick of the obsessions with likes and people acting likes it's the most important thing in the world . I think the mistake I made was adding family on there had to be careful what i posted or wrote which sucks . Plus the people asking you to play those stupid games are more annoying

Nobody on Facebook talks to me, anyways.
I've moved to the conservative areas of Tumblr and Reddit.

I don't think so. All of my friends are very active on Facebook and it's my main means of communicating for some people. Facebook isn't going anywhere...

I can see it happening also, I rarely use it anymore. My main gripe with it is that all of its stupid changes. As well as all the websites that allow and apps that allow you to log in with your Facebook account.

My 55-year-old dad posts more posts and status updates than most 20yo people. Based on that, yes, I can see it happening.

What??? You mean you don't want to give me another life in Candy Crush Saga?? That's fine I'll just invite you to play a bunch of other crappy games! Agreed, those invites suck.

Yes, every time I post something relevant I want an older relative or a friends mom to instantly derail the post with something lame.

I'm smart enough to not blow up my 17 year old cousins posts with something stupid and "old appearing" (even though I'm only 32).

Point is that Facebook is a place to ignore people outside of your inner circle and stir up drama I between being bombarded with ads. Probably will stick around but the user base is dying slowly that's a fact.

I've never used it. It seems to just be a great way to post something while drunk and ruin your career prospects. If someone is a real friend they'll actually *talk* to me, so i don't even see the point.

I've never had Facebook, and I'm pretty tech savy person. I know that I am in the large minority and many people have tried to get me to get Facebook. While staying in touch with a few people would be nice, I do it the old fashion way, with a phone call, heck even text messages or email.

I love facebook for communicating and keeping up with old/new friends and family but that is pretty it. I am addicted it to though. I check everyday. The only problems is when i post a point of view or something semi dramatic on there older relatives take it too seriously and make a big deal out it. Like ok calm down just ranting.

There needs to be a suitable candidate to replace it first. Snapchat, Twitter or what have you are a different kettle of fish.

Good. I hate facebook. Myspace was way cooler back when you could make your profile look all cool and customized....now that has gone to shit too.

    No problem.

Once I got to see some of the douches from high school and college on there, it reinforced how much I didn't like them ... and them me, probably. I was able to reconnect with people before and after those 2 chapters. I keep in touch with them through other means. It served its purpose.

Facebook and Twitter will be what Myspace is now in about five years anyways. Everyone is using tumblr and other sites nowadays.
