Along with homophobia, a topic that is touched upon is the reaction to the appearance of Panti Bliss on the Irish late-night talk show "The Saturday Night Show" on January 11th 2014 and the subsequent complaints issued by viewers and the network's (RTÉ) swift public apology for some of the comments made during the segment.
