Panti's Noble Call at the Abbey Theatre - YouTube

Here is an amazing speech by Irish drag queen, "performer-of-sorts" and LGBT Rights Activist Rory O'Neill AKA Panti Bliss, in Dublin's Abbey Theatre.

Along with homophobia, a topic that is touched upon is the reaction to the appearance of Panti Bliss on the Irish late-night talk show "The Saturday Night Show" on January 11th 2014 and the subsequent complaints issued by viewers and the network's (RTÉ) swift public apology for some of the comments made during the segment. Censorship of the original interview was carried out also:bang: due to some viewers' upset. A link to that story is here More than 100 complaints about Panti appearance and RTÉ apology

Some fantastic points are made in the speech about the various issues still very much encountered in Ireland (and the world in general) for LGBT+ individuals and I'm personally thankful we have amazing people like this to help fight against it
