A b**** woman from Orem, Utah went shopping at the local mall with her teenage son, and thought that t-shirts with designs along these lines were "pornographic":

So, after complaining to the manager to no avail, she cleaned them out at the local Pac Sun store. Judy Cox spent $567 to buy every single one of those shirts, and plans to return all of them the day before the 60-day refund period expires. She's also talked with a city attorney to try and get the store to stop selling the Visual by Van Styles shirts, or keep them in a location where they're hard to find.

Orem is an extremely conservative Mormon city about 40 miles south of Salt Lake City, and PacSun CEO Gary Schoenfield had this to say in a statement:

Somebody sabotage her car the day she goes to return them; then she'll have just increased the demand for them.

What does the store care? Until she returns the shirts they have her money. Once she returns the shirts if their store is like Walmart the shirts will be labeled as 'claims' and the store's insurance will cover them as 'lost merchandise' so ultimately she's done nothing more than put money in the store's pockets thus insuring they'll continue selling that particular brand.

If she would have bitched about those "eat less" or "depression" shirts like Urban Outfitters did/does--fine. But this? Parents confuse me.

She actually said she doesn't have a problem with Victoria's Secret because their clientele is all adults (Or so she thinks. I've never seen so many teenage girls going into Victoria's Secret in my life!). PacSun is specifically geared toward teens and young adults, and so that's the reason for her temper tantrum.

But better yet, maybe I should sue her over her "pornographic" last name...

I've been buying my bras from VS since 14. And I know girls younger than that who buy other things there when mommy has to pick up some new gear. I mean they are in malls for crying out loud.

The shirt isn't pornography, most magazines have a few shirtless woman. Is it inappropriate for some situations? Yes.

It's really funny she bought them just so no one else could. It's like the reverse of boycotting something because the company making the T-shirts still makes profit. She'd be better off gathering her friends outside the store with picket signs or something.

Lady, I've seen naughtier stuff in kids movies. Don't force your parenting crap on everyone else. Not sure exactly why I'm typing as if she's gonna read this, but whatever.

Bleh. Never buying from Urban Outfitters, even if they do have some nice stuff. Way to send a bad message to teenagers.

I'd have bought that shirt. Now I have to wait for them to come back in

I feel bad for the teenage son. Can you imagine being a teenage boy in a store with your mother, when she completely flips out like this?

"Avert your eyes, Billy! It's porn! Look away, Billy! Look away now! Didn't you hear me?! STOP STARING OR JESUS WILL STRIKE YOU BLIND!"
