    In the UK: BBC News - Same-sex marriage now legal as first couples wed

    Specifically England and Wales. In Scotland it'll start in the fall. In Northern Ireland they don't have marriage but treat the other places' ones as civil partnerships (correct me if I'm wrong)

    Yes, same sex marriage is finally legal in the UK. At last, our marriage laws have entered the 21st century.

    I'm so happy as it means if I decide to marry again, it doesn't matter if my partner is a guy or girl. I can still do it.

    I agree with some of you guys, i always thought it WAS legal....

    So gays can get married in England? and the sky hasn't fallen in? society is still standing? Huh. How weird!

    Im so happy!! Its good that people can get married!! They should be able to no mater where though! But its a start!! ^.^
