    Urgh....

But seriously as a person interested in psychology anyone peddling this nonsense should be slapped or something.

On the bright side, locking me up in a prison probably with other gay guys could be interesting........ :icon_bigg

Personally I think Lively is far far far worse than the WBC, he has influence with law makers, look at Uganda for instance. I know I should never wish death but this man......

    I think it's April Fool's...

Also that guy would be chased out of Massachusetts so damn fast...

Outside of NYC and LA and San Francisco I would dare say that Provincetown, Northampton and Boston Massachusetts are some of the most LGBT friendly cities out there.

He doesn't look the joking type, plus I don't think someone who running for congress would make a joke about it ...

Plus the article was posted on 31 of march

Well my point about the most liberal state in the union with many LGBT centers will not listen to this guy come voting time is still valid.

It's not really voluntary if you're forced into making such a choice or go to jail.

EDIT: wonder what he'd say if I proposed this, but for Christians.

I'm actually glad he's running for governor, it means everyone can see what a bigoted waste of blood, organs and oxygen he and the rest of the American Taliban are.

Well... Good thing many states are moving to ban this sort of therapy. I guess our crowded prison system will become even more flooded!

Ugh. His only reasoning for being against the "kill the gays" bill was a reason far worse than death. I hate being forced into a pretty little box I don't fit. I don't think I'm the only one.

The conversion therapy that my first girlfriend went through worked, at least temporarily. They guaranteed her parents that she would return saying she was cured, and she did. They never guaranteed how long the therapy effects would last. They told the parents that they couldn't be responsible for the parental environment, etc.

  18. Oh totally agree, and while we're at it, why don't we lock up the ones who aren't fixed in an insane asylum and use electric shock therapy to help "forget" about their gayness. :rolle:

Really, 60 years later, and no one has learned anything?

Please, if anyone agrees with this idiot, let me know so I never associate with you again.

Scott Lively is a man who surrendered his humanity card long ago.

It's time for someone to act accordingly.
