A quick Google search of the article title will link you to the actual article. Hint: the site name involves the Latin God of Love.

Honestly, I think it's awesome that the website is doing it. It bluntly speaks out against any intolerance of homosexuality, so good on them for doing it.

Good good. I have to say I wouldn't have expected it of them, but it sounds good to me.

Also, from the bottom of the article:

    WHAT??????????? People actually use IE?

Surely in this context it's alright to say the name of the website. It just seems a bit silly. We all know who it is. There's a difference between saying my name on ***** is this and saying that a company is in support of gay rights.

On the topic at hand. I don't really care what a CEO saids. I like to use firefox.

That's because most corporations just install their computers with Windows XP which of course has IE on it. There's still a bunch of people who use IE6 or 7 still which is quite a pain for web developers.

Anyways, this is pretty stupid. You're going to cut off a chunk of your users because of one person's past? Moronic.

My mom used to say this: "Internet Explorer is the best brower for downloading ANOTHER browser."

    :roflmao:

I'm curious, why aren't we allowed to say dating site names?
Are the leaders afraid we're all going to start dating eachother?

Well, it doesn't matter to me. I wouldn't be caught dead on a dating website either way.

Besides that, I'm glad that ******* and Firefox aren't on good terms anymore.

If we simply cannot mention the name of a site (but can link to an article about) when we have posts that talk about anal sex.......

The mods/admins can correct me if I'm wrong on this but I think I understand why those sites are censored.

We have many members here who are between 13 and 17. While it wouldn't be hard for them to find these sites on their own, I don't think Empty Closets would want to be responsible for underage members getting involved in those types of sites.

Also, it might lead to off-site contact which seems to be forbidden to regular members from what I've read.

Don't be so negative. This is a deeply penetrating Empty Closet's legal strategy to protect everyone's butt security.

Anyway, I am happy that the Affirmative Love Archer people supported us.

I just don't get the Internet Explorer hate, I still use it because it's what we've always had and it works, I like it. Am I the only one it works for? I guess that makes sense since things that work for everyone else don't work for me. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

On topic, it's good to hear more companies standing up for equality of everyone!

I moved away from IE many years ago (I switched to Netscape Navigator first). One of the biggest problems is that Microsoft doesn't like following accepted standards. 2 revisions ago Microsoft updated IE and broke our state Equality organizations web page, so it was unusable, but only on the new revisions of IE. I personally tested it on Firefox, Chrome, older versions of IE, and Safari, all worked fine. It is costing this ground thousands of dollars to revise their site, just so IE users can access it. If microsoft followed standards it wouldn't be an issue.

So, how is the site reacting to the Mozilla CEO resigning?
