    So yeah

We must be doing something right if one of the most deplorable excuses for a human "pities" the queen, who I must highlight has made recent speeches in support of LGBT rights.

The hypocrisy of Mugabe (and many other African leaders) is staggering really. These are people who fought tooth and nail against British colonial rule, yet uphold the archaic laws and traditions of that time to suit their own narrow prejudice. You'd think they would want to get rid of links with the dark past a create a more open, forward looking society.

"Turing was prosecuted for homosexuality in 1952, when such acts were still criminalised in the UK. He accepted treatment with estrogen injections (chemical castration) as an alternative to prison. Turing died in 1954, 16 days before his 42nd birthday, from cyanide poisoning. An inquest determined his death a suicide; his mother and some others believed it was accidental.[7] On 10 September 2009, following an Internet campaign, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown made an official public apology on behalf of the British government for "the appalling way he was treated." The Queen granted him a posthumous pardon on 24 December 2013."

Poor Queen. She had to excuse herself to the guy who helped save Britain's ass from Addy Hitler and his Ubots.

I pity the people who've had to live under Mugabe's "rule" for so many decades.

I pity Mugabe and his country's depression that he started. Zimbabwe needs a new leader.

@Imnotreallysure, I don't think that emphasizes the situation enough.

    What rubbish,
Isn't she the head of the 'colonial masters' he uses as a scape goat for his corruption.

When it was a colony called British Rhodesia it was the "Breadbasket of Africa" one of the most developed countries in Africa.

Then him and his Zanu PF cronies got into power, his so called land reforms took the farms away from the people who knew what they were doing and gave them to his friends who had no idea and caused a famine.

I am not normally a fan of intervention but Zimbabwe would have been one of the few times that I would have supported it.
