    Lawsuit filed against Georgia's gay marriage ban

    It's about freaking time!

    Maybe we won't be the last state to legalize same-sex marriage after all...
    It'll probably still take 5-10 years for the ban to be lifted, but hey, at least it's a start!

    I'm not sure if I'd want to be married here in Georgia, but it'd certainly be nice to have the option. :slight_smile:

    The ideal, of course, is for all levels of government to back the fuck out of legislating marriage period. Preventing miscegenation (and now same-sex marriage) is the only reason the reactionary majority enabled it in the first place.

    Still, a laudatory step in the right direction for my ever-backwards state. :slight_smile:

    I totally agree. I love the libertarian view on marriage. :icon_bigg

    Let consenting adults marry as they damn well please.
