    Jeez. I hate Common Core, it has dramatically slowed my sister's learning and she now gets very easily frustrated. Her math pages are all done with her drawing circles, and she says she's not allowed to use the direct blah+blah=blah approach using actual Arabic numbers like I did growing up. And before this nonsense, when she could use Arabic numbers, she had to explain how she got to 5+6=11 and shit like that. Who cares? A deeper understanding than traditional methods of teaching isn't gonna make the kid any smarter. Just slower.

    There. Isn't that a better argument than insisting on an agenda that makes no sense? If you're going to oppose something, you're argument better be something more substantial than "The Bible says gays are bad".

    Wow, I actually don't like common core based on the reports I have seen. I don't believe any education could turn kids gay. It may make them more accepting of gays, but cannot turn kids gay.

    That's bc it is medically impossible to be turned gay or trans, etc. There are physiological differences.

    I mean CCSS has problems for sure, but this is just a crazy argument to get rid of it. I'm in favor of reforming it and letting states decide how to reach the standards, but not set the standards.
