I don't normally share news here, I thought this was really cool, and that it should be shared. One commenter pointed out a flaw in the article when it talked about the Manif Pour Tous, so I would scroll all the way down and check that out if you're reading the whole story and want to be sure the facts are strait.

Down with the binary! Down with double standards!

This sounds like something I'd do if I weren't so self-conscious/shy...

Wouldn't it be easier with everyone else doing it? At least, I know it would for me. I'd jump at the chance!

I'd wear a skirt to school to help stop sexism. Where do I sign up for next year?

    I wear a skirt anyway.

But ya, I think it's important for women's dress not to be so ridiculously policed, and now is a great time to be having droves of schoolboys making fun of their shit.

    Down with patriarchy!

Les garçons sont fantastiques. Sexisme n'est pas bien pour un société cilvi.

Might have to do that in work, but for the opposite reason!

Female colleagues get to wear sandals, skirts, and strappy tops in the Summer heat yet us blokes are confined to dress shoes (and obviously socks), formal trousers, dress shirts and ties. :tantrum:

Girls are lucky to wear skirts when it's hot, while male students have to wear stuffy trousers. Probably not an issue in the US, but here, school uniforms are mandatory at pretty much all schools, and shorts are not permitted at all - except in PE.

If there is one thing I envy about girls, it's the ability to wear clothing that allows cool air to the nether regions. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Didn't you bother reading?

I like that I'm seeing younger boys taking part in the pictures. It's good to know that it has support from multiple age groups.

Admittedly, many of those doing it will still be sexist, but not realise or at least refuse to believe it. But I think that most are doing the right thing with good intentions and understanding.

That's pretty cool. Most men I know would be too scared to do that. For me I've always kind of wanted an excuse to do that.
