    No, standardized testing does make us a nation of factory-minded students-as-raw-materials assholes though. So I like to look at the glass being half full in this situation. The article does capture some notion of truth. Namely, the "standardized testing makes" part.

    So maybe the fact that I didn't really care or try on standardized tests is why I'm bisexual? I didn't try so I didn't get the full brunt of it. Well, good to know :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    1) make you learn for the test instead of actually learning something: check

    2) is a relic from the 20th century and signifies not much: check

    3) makes you gay...wtf?
