    Not only that, but his fellow councilmen agreed with him and rejected the anti-discrimination proposal 9-0. It's unbelieveable that not a single person voted for it.

    Saginaw is a really, really sad city. I recall stopping there once on my way up north, and talk about a rust-belt ghost-town. I feel bad for just about anyone, living in Saginaw...it's certainly seen better days. And things like this stupid vote are certainly not going to attract young, new residents...especially ones with an appreciation for leather trousers.

    It's ironic too. Gays were actually killed by Nazis. An estimated 50,000-60,000 homosexuals were convicted during the Holocaust. People like this show utter most disrespect to not only gays, but all 12,000,000 people who were victims of one of the worst genocides in human history.

    Culturally speaking, I am Jewish, and I'm a non heterosexual, considering the fact that gay people were also slaughtered by the nazis, I'm not sure that's a very accurate comparison. It's kind of like the people who claim that rape is the fault of the victim, it's horribly offensive, proves the ignorance of those who say it, and has no basis in any semblance of reality.

    I've also been called a nazi for being a feminist, so It's hard to act surprised by the comparison. I think anyone who would compare social rights activists and nazism is just proving that they are immature and fail to recognize just how much of an atrocity the holocaust is. Saying anyone who disagrees with you is a nazi belittles the significance of how horrible the nazis were. So I'm going to avoid comparing his hatred of people for being different to him to nazism.
