    Wow, this is good news. I hope that private insurance and medicade follow suit.

    Yeah, I certainly agree, and since private insurances usually have Medicare as a general baseline, I'd give it a year at most before some certain companies begin to do so.

    Awesome. Seconding the notion of hoping Medicaid/private insurance will cover trans medicine/surgery costs in due time.

    I already paid out for FFS, I'd be thrilled to have free SRS. It'd give me an extra 25k to spend on other stuff! That's a lot of electrolysis and body contouring surgery, breasts implants and a vacation!

    At first it makes me happy but then I remember that they'll call me too mentally unstable and I won't be able to have the surgery anyway...

    And then I'm sad.
