Greed, fame, attention, power over the scared and vulnerable, misguided belief he's helping people, compulsive need to make gays extinct, take your pick. I don't know what it is that drives people like Nicolosi, but I do know that he, his "therapy" and the supporters of this barbarism are evil.

Yet despite the fact that it has the same scientific backing as blood letting and the fact that a six year old could tell you it's just a load of horse shit trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist, there's still no outright ban anywhere in the world. Nicolosi and his ilk exploit the scared and the vulnerable, leaving a trail of broken and lost lives and youth in their wake and Atlas just shrugs.

I'm less than bothered about hearing Nicolosi and co attempt to defend themselves. Media should be doing more to report on the carnage they wreck, not their attempts to paint themselves as David fighting big bad government. That actually pisses me off that whenever you see an ex-gay story in the non specialist media it's all about freedom of speech, freedom of religion and parents rights. What about the poor bastards who have been subjected to this?

and draws obvious conclusions from the fact that no successfully treated cases were available for interview. He also interviews one of Nicolosi's failures who saw through it, had to make some difficult decisions and seems to have survived remarkably well.
