LGBT News CNN's "Is Disney Ready for a Gay Princess" Article Gets A Bunch of Negative Comments

  1. This is the link to the article right here: Opinion: Is Disney ready for gay princess? - CNN.com

I seriously thought America improved a lot more than this, but I guess I was wrong. Almost every comment was like "Why do you keep pushing the gay agenda down our throats?" or "I don't want the movies my children see to be all sexualized" and ugh, it was SO frustrating. All that children would be "indoctrinated" with by having a gay princess is simply that gay people are human too and deserved to be treated equally - And seriously, what's so wrong with that? Also, since when did the media care about being sexualized? By the way, being gay isn't all about sex. If a Disney princess can kiss her prince charming in a movie, then why can't a princess kiss a princess? A relationship isn't all about sex, for goodness' sake. If that's what you think it's all about, then they should of been complaining about all the other times princess had kissed their prince. I just... I just don't get it :/

No their not have you seen the show faking it that's what they think of lesbians.their not. ready a gay prince maybe but not a gay princess not anytime soon because people still have the women belong to men type of thinking
people see lesbians and automatically think porn they don't even think of us as human beings with feelings all they think is we just lick each other all day and that's all to us

I've seen it all actually - And yes, they did really mess it up in some parts. I don't think they are ready for either a gay princess or gay prince, but I know what you are talking about. It's a shame that lesbian relationships are so sexualized and not treated like real relationships :/ Lesbians, bisexual girls, and pansexual girls have actual emotional feelings for the girls they are with, not just sexual ones.

I think that Dreamworks is probably closer to having an openly gay/lesbian/bi character than Disney since Gobber from HTTYD is gay

Yes and the one thing I have learned in life as a lesbian is most straight guys (not all straight men are like this ) and people in general because I've seen straight women do the same are ok with you when your relationship with women is just in a sexual nature but when lesbians are having serious relationships dating marrying and having children and you don't want anything do with them sexually or romantically with men you become just as bad as the gay men homophobic straight men hate .
I even once saw on facebook some one put a loving picture of a lesbian couple both women were pretty and it was romantic and they flagged it down , the same person put up a sexualized picture of lesbians and it never got flagged or taken down .
The only time lesbians , bisexual women and pansexual women will be respected is when all women are no longer seen belonging to men only .
