LGBT News Vine Star Nash Grier Hurls Homophobic Slur In HIV Video

I saw this apology on twitter and I really wondered what it was for. I was aware of this homophobic vine, but when I heard it was only April I assumed the recent apology was for something else because of the "young and stupid back then" quote.

I'm afraid Nash being homophobic is nothing new. A selection of tweets:

The fact is, he's either homophobic or just think it's 'cool' to be homophobic, similar to those who use the word 'fag' or other major homophobic insults, like kids at school do.

Either way, there's no excuse for it, this is hardly a first offense.

 

Huh, never heard of this person. What is it that he does, to be 'famous'? Is he some kinda teen-pop-star? Sounds like a jerk, whoever he is.

I have randomly heard about this guy on Twitter before and a lot of people seemed to dislike him. I also heard about his rude and homophobic statements a long time ago. I never watched him at all though and I don't plan to. He really seems like a douchebag letting the "fame" he has get to his head. He doesn't even think to apologize most of the time and when he does, it never seems sincere. The guy seems like he isn't a sincere person either, I don't know what he does to have the most followers there:rolle:

Is he popular?? Really?? I havent heard of him in my entire life.is famous about what? His voice? His dancing skills?? His cooking skills??? He seems stupid ugly and young.is he trying to be cool with this video or just trying to put more people in danger?

Like someone above me mentioned, I hope he has a Rebecca Black and loses a myriad of followers. Just sickening...

 

I've never seen any of his videos but I've heard of him before because apparently he makes a big deal about women not shaving their arms or something like that...

Wonder what he would say to the millions of people around the world that are infected with HIV, regardless of their sexual orientation... I swear, people like him have made me lose all faith in humanity.

slow news day, huh. The media got nothing to do but report on an idiot that makes idiotic comments for people to laugh at, I guess.

 

I'm still amazed that he has any followers, he's misogynistic(if you have ever heard about his video "what guys look for in girls" or something along those lines), homophobic, and I'm pretty sure he's said racist things( he's tweeted things calling men wearing turbans terrorists)....thing is some people who follow him aren't even aware what a horrible person he is, like I remember my sister being a fan of Nash Grier with her friends until I pointed out to them how sexist ,racist and homophobic he is...

 

whether we care to acknowledge it or not, he is a guy with a massive platform which he is using to promote hiv ignorance and homophobia.
