    When the proceeds are for a LBGTQ organization, something like this is a carrot to get a big donation. At 2700$, that's all going to be money for helping folks in Switzerland. Sony still gets to list some value of the PS4 as a donation as well, so they aren't taking any of the money from the winning bid. And you can itemize the winning bid as a donation in the US if you win.

    Expensive? Yes. Worth it for someone who can afford it as a donation for a cause they care about? Absolutely.

    It has to be. The money is being donated to a charity, and it'd be odd for a multi-billion dollar company to donate only $500.

    The PS3 still looks more sleek than the PS4.
    The Zelda heart thing would be better on a Nintendo console, but it's not bad-looking.
    I wouldn't buy it, though. I can help out in other ways. Besides, there are still new games coming out for the PS3. (Like the recent JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle and the new Persona game coming to the states in 2015.)

    I could have sworn you were American...:confused:
