    I am stunned by this. Stunned. He was so talented and he was versatile in what he could take on. I especially liked him in a more dramatic role in "Good Will Hunting." Also, Wiki shows him as currently married, so he had someone in his life. I think he has children. As if the whole mess with race car driver Tony Stewart isn't enough in the entertainment world. The guilt that guy must feel.

    This has been a weird year for entertainers and were not even 2/3 of the way through.

    Very sad, I always liked him. It's shocking because he always seemed so happy, but that's just because when he was seen it was usually in a funny\comedic context.

    Thanks for posting this, and taking the responsibility out of my hands, as I was in the middle of doing so. My day's been pretty shitty, today, and hearing this does not help at all.

    Heartbreaking, I was a fan of Aladdin and Jumanji when I was a kid and he seemed like a good guy and was a funny stand-up comic. This has been a messed up year, especially for comics.

    Im heartbroken. Robin was my idol. :tears:

    Its sad when you loose someone you love whether its family, friends, pets, or famous people you idolized growing up. Its even more sad when they die from something that can be prevented. Robin was very depressed as of late and as someone who knows the struggle that is depression its all too real. No matter how bad you feel, suicide is never the answer. Talk to someone. Get help. Take positive action. It doesnt matter if you are 4 years old or 82. It doesnt matter if you are a boy or girl or anything in between. It doesnt matter if you are LGBT or straight. It doesnt matter if you are rich or poor. It doesnt matter if you are black, white, brown, purple or hot pink. It doesnt matter how serious your situation is. I struggle with a monster called mental illness (to be exact, depression, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety with a hint of obsessive compulsive disorder) on a daily basis. I just got out of a psych unit about a month ago, because I chose to get help. I not only urge but beg that if you are having any kind of issue with mental illness to please seek help. No matter how fucked up your life may be, suicide is never the answer.

    Many comedians are reported to have a dark side. I think they use humor to channel pain in many instances. While it was reported to be an accidental overdose, comedian Greg Giraldo also left us early.

    Whether deliberate or accidental, it is very troubling and it is especially so if they were entertainers we liked and whose careers we followed.

    I saw this about an hour ago. It's so sad and shocking. He was a very talented man. I haven't seen much of his work but Mrs. Doubtfire was one of my favourite movies when I was a kid.
