So yesterday I was at home and we were watching tv and I looked up and I saw what j thought was footage from Gaza because of the smoke and riots, it was actually here in the U.S and those were riots in the city of ferguson. Here is an article about the violent demonstrations http://http://www.cbsnews.com/news/obama-on-racial-tension-in-missouri-nows-the-time-for-healing/
I tried to click on the link and it didn't work so I thought I would try and post the link again Obama on racial tension in Missouri: "Now's the time for healing" - CBS News
I live in St. Louis so that's all that we've been hearing about lately. I will say it's beyond crazy here. There's so many different stories going around too, so no one really knows what's going on. I mean I feel bad that a man was killed but apparently he robbed a store earlier so they say that could possibly have something to do with it, not saying he needed to be killed for it. But it's terrible that stores are being broken into and burned down for it. I just wish it would calm down around here.
Yeah! I was really shocked that that was the level of violence going on there :O. Like Mobrien stated, there was no reason for Brown to be killed, even if he was a suspect in a robbery and thus it did not have to escalade to this at all. I'd love to see it get back to normal and some peace would be nice.
