The Mail were reporting them as well today - its odd as it is a bit of old news, these things have been around for years. To me they look like right drowning hazards, if you were struggling in water the last thing you want is a flannel over your head - it would be like waterboarding! And I'd not exactly sure of the need for them, not when we have good high SPF waterproof sunscreen available now. Mind you for people who burn extremely easily (redheads, albinos, and people with vitiligo) or people with skin sensitivities preventing sunscreen use it would probably be beneficial.
I understand that, but wouldn't a sunscreen with a higher SPF just do the same thing as wearing one of these? I personally burn really easily and I just apply a sunscreen that's like 45-50 SPF.
Aha :lol: Yeah, I'd be worried about the drowning harzard too. But I guess if it makes them more comfortable (hard to believe,eh?) and self-confident, then I'll try not to judge :lol:
