The WBC is protesting Robert Williams, but apparently another organization is countering this by raising money for one of Robin Williams favorite causes.

 

The WBC is just latching onto a big story to gain attention. By raising money to support dear Mr. Williams, the WBC becomes irrelevant except as the catalyst by which this charitable act was set in motion.

 

It's not "coming to" anything based on the actions of the WBC. They protest everyone who isn't them. Nobody should give a terminating fraction of a shit about them.

Robin was a magnificent man and it will probably be very many years, if ever, before we see someone else with that much magic.

 

"Fag Pimp" thats hillarious even by WBC standards! I cant think of a more better group of jokes to picket the great mans funeral. we can take solace that everything the WBC seems to do only ever seems to isolate them even more.

 

Hi. Westboro Baptist Church is a terrorist organization that believes America is a doomed nation because gay sex isn't against the law and punished by death.

I've always kinda thought and still do to this day that they are employed by some large LGBT rights organization (perhaps HRC?) to do what they do.

I know it sounds ridiculous and far-fetched, but so is what they spout at every chance they get.

I am so frustrated that these people keep getting in the news. Why? Why can't we all just ignore them? They WANT to be in the news. I know they make for clickable stories, but jesus, can't we all make a pact to ignore them and never publish their name again? I'll bet if they found this thread they'd THRILLED.
