    I'm so glad I live in the UK. We don't have as many bigoted religious extremists here. If they don't want to be in a gay marriage, that is absolutely fine, but denying the right to marriage to those who wish it is not a matter of religion, it is a matter of close-mindedness.

    Not sure how I could care less since the stakes are non-existent for these people. Also, if they're so scared of fasting their food, they can choose something else, as I'm pretty sure fasting can apply to many things.

    The way some of these religious groups act im supprised they arent doing a "Dirty Protest".

    In other words, they're avoiding from starving themselves because they recognized the fact that them fasting won't stop sex-change marriage?

    So the idea is they are eating more spiritual food, how is that a fast? Hopefully because it is over quickly.

    Funny thing is, the kid at least do hold their breath. These people are like, pretending they are holding their breath, and saying, we are holding spiritual breath.

    :confused: I don't understand this. So they're... rhetorically fasting... or saying that they're fasting to get attention but not actually fasting.

    I wish they would fast for 40 days, there'd be a couple less arseholes in the way of same sex marriage for everyone.
