    It's well they think only men can be gay and women can't.
    It's a shame Japan made some great yuri, but this one of the reasons yuri is often subtext, and why lesbians couples take a long time to kiss in anime compared to their gay counter parts.

    Kind of like how the US is with gay men. It's found more disgusting for guys to kiss in America, yet lesbians are hot...


    In Japan it's the other way around, yaoi (guy on guy manga and anime) is super popular with girls. Yuri, while there are plenty of guys who enjoy it, just isn't as quite as "mainstream"

    Don't get me wrong, it's ridiculous and hypocritical either way. But don't act like your country's all innocent.

    This is what has allways bothered me with Yaoi. It is made for straight women the same way that lesbian porn is made for straight men. Yes it shows two men screwing and yes I find it insanely hot. Actually I dont know why Im complaining, I love Yaoi... Forget I was here

    They do kinda things in my country too :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Mostly in music videos and foreign movies/shows.Shakiras song with rihanna got completely banned for showing homosexual behaviour.I dont think they will even show that episode here.
