Sometimes people forget rape is not about the sex, but the violation of another person's body and consent.

 

Depends where you are located.

In the UK this would not be classed as rape (as only men can commit rape in UK law/rape is penetration with the penis), but instead the "lesser crime" of sexual assault which has a much lower sentence. Its really wrong IMO, all sexual assault has the potential to cause the same devastating effects on the victim.

 

That is just so terrible, I hope she is proscucated to the fullest extent of the law. It is sad and just so wrong in this day and age that rape still goes on. I just wish that it was a topic we didn't need to worry about anymore, but reading things like this just makes me lose hope.

 

Yea if a man did this it would be a complete outrage but because a women did it I doubt she will get that long a sentence.

 

Awful. Men shouldn't do this, women shouldn't do this. Enough said.

The street goes both ways. It's just as bad for her to do this as much as it is for any guy to do it. Like Quem stated, no one, regardless of gender, should do this. Period. The end.

I hope this will help raising awareness about the fact that a woman can indeed rape a man... But it's awful either ways.
