    Had to.

Honestly though, I'm unsure on what the issue is, exactly. If France says it'll stay banned, and they're not really doing anything about it, what are 30,000 people doing in the streets of Bordeaux?

Well it's like I always say: nothing brings people together like preventing gay people from having rights!

I haven't seen that many people marching in France since...

    No, I can't do it.

I'm just abhorred by this, but then again, these people would protest if Coca-Cola prices went up two euros .

*6 days without a protest/6 jours sans une protestation*

This is inaccurate. They RAN through the streets to escape angry gay guys with sledgehammers.
I'd have been there with a hammer if I lived in France.

    TOO SOON!

Anyway, while I would rather adopt than have a child through a surrogate mother, I don't see why, other people shouldn't have the choice not to. I don't see how it's a form of "industrialization" or "modern slavery" as Thibault makes it to be. It's not as if surrogate mothers are being forced to have children against their will.

Yep, that's France. It's increasingly racist, too, apparently.

Ffs France! I always feel so proud of being half French why do a few backward dicks have to go spoil it? Although in fairness I don't think these protesters are representative of the French public as a whole (well no group ever is). On many issues France apparently has a split between the more old fashioned and those with modern progressive values.

I have no words... Increasing racism, a lot of homophobia. There are good things but sometimes I really wish I could change country when I see things like this. I'd love to get the Luxembourg passport for example, gay prime minister and almost no one bats an eye

It's stupid to say this is France as a whole

Yeah it is definitely not France as a whole. Hell, gay marriage is even legal. But there seems to be an increase in racism and homophobia and other discriminations. Maybe it's just an increase in visibility but it is still scary...
