Jennifer Laude (formally Jeffrey) was a 26 year old Filipino transgender woman who’s body was found in a motel room, her head pushed firmly down on a toilet seat until she drowned (she drowned on toilet water, her neck pushed against the porcelain seat) The suspect, who was seen with Jennifer entering the motel room, was a white male who was later identified as First Class Joseph Scott Pemberton marine is assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and who is currently detained by the US Armed Forces in the US Embassy.

I really do hope they will get to the bottom of this because usually when an American officer/military commits a crime they get taken away...

And if you scroll down to the comments, you can just see how there are a lot of transphobic and homophobic remarks....

I hope they solve this and figure out what happened. This is just awful to hear .
