He's not insisting that lesbians are somehow responsible, just trying to blame somebody for the sake of blaming somebody. Just your average political fucker; nothing to see here.

To be completely fair, the CDC spent money researching the connection (which is consistently shown NOT to exist) between violence and computer/video games, despite the fact that my generation is the least violent generation in American history.

The person is simply stating that there are crazy anti Whatver types on both sides of the political party lines in the US. I think that anyone who actually knows anytnkg about politics would find that to be an erroneous assumption .

Yeah but the only ones suffering from Foot-In-Mouth syndrome right now are on the right wing.

They represent a good portion of how the godfearing folks in this nation feel so...and they do get elected by some constituencies .

Of course, it's time to "blame the gays" for the problems of the nation. We see this with nearly every natural disaster, so it does not surprise me at all that we are seeing this with ebola.

Someone wrote into my hometown newspaper and said that Barack Obama recruited people from Africa to come spread Ebola in the US to kill off conservatives. So now Lesbians and Obama have taken part in a huge conspiracy over Ebola.

Exactly: Here's a few more Examples from The Baltimore Sun:

Rush Limbaugh says "liberals," and President Barack Obama in particular, want Ebola to spread in this country to punish white Americans for the crime of slavery. "We've elected people who think like this," said the inflammatory radio show host.

Michael Savage, another strident talk show host, said the only reason the president has sent U.S. troops to the Ebola hot zones in West Africa is because he wants at least one of them to come back with the disease and infect the country. He called it "the highest form of treason."

He calls the Mr. Obama, "President Obola."

And Larry Klayman, founder of Freedom Watch, has sued President Obama and the head of the Centers for Disease Control, seeking to close the American borders. The president, he writes in a news release, has too much affinity for "his infected fellow Africans" and has opened the country up to "American Muslim ISIS suicide terrorists who would intentionally infect themselves with the deadly disease and thus have it spread wildly throughout the United States."

    ~

And then you've had several fox news commentators making similar claims, including an 'expert' psychologist who says Obama wants Americans to suffer, just like people in poor colonies.

What is even more striking is that I don't see any 'moderate' Republicans calling out any of this BS...because they live in total fear of making folks like Rush Limbaugh mad, and are always sure to lick his ass nice and clean if they ever do.

They also are hoping that this fear-mongering helps carry them though the upcoming elections...

Had to look up just what Ebola is, I'm so out of the loop, and I immediately thought of Captain Trips, haha.

What a charmer. I doubt this qualifies as hate speech, but I don't think libel (especially along with the ridiculous claims by pro-Republican media which Husky Pup has pointed out) is out of the question.

It's either reprehensible and distracting or utterly senseless, I agree.
