    If only every place allowed such a thing.

    I find it strange how laws and regulations differ between the states/territories, too. Say, even if you were born in Massachusetts, but grew up in Rhode Island from the time you were two months old, yet you can't change the gender on your birth certificate without the gender reassignment requirement simply because you're practically that one state's property all because you happened to be born there. Idiotic.

    I understand. I live in Ohio, where you can never change your gender marker on anything other than your driver's licence. :tantrum:
