General News 5 year old kidnapped and nearly abducted

A) I would like to know why there was an unlocked door..

B). How the would be kidnapper knew there was an unlocked door and a young girl inside

C) I'd also like to know why parents would allow their 5 year old daughter to have her bedroom in the basement?

I'd say to the parents: get a way better alarm system. How did the guy even get into the basement, come back outside and THEN have the dad come? just...wow...

B) guy prolly tried both doors

C) I have two siblings that sleep in our basement, granted both are teens, but when they started one was 8, the other 10.

Come on, don't make it like its somehow the parents fault she almost got kidnapped.

I find myself wondering at the difference between kidnapping and abduction. I wasn't aware there was one...

 

Lol yeah that's what made me click the title in the first place....I was like huh?

 

My question is how did the dad just get the girl back right then and there. If the guy was a real kidnapper he would've carried a weapon or something. In my theory I think it was just a family set up to get famous on the news.

 

In what part of the world do people leave their doors unlocked o.o?

 

The isle of mann, where my grandmother lives, for one.
