I am curious to hear whats going on in your area. My university is in a rural area and unfortunately in a town 10 miles away there is a kkk group. They are suspected of putting out fliers around campus they did this a few years back to try and recruit students no word on if it worked... :tantrum: Further out there are big peaceful protests in D.C and word around campus is theirs one to be held at noon on campus today.

Just another day, at least externally.

Not sure how folks feel on the inside, though. But so far, everything has been like any other day.

Nothing is happening here so far. It's pretty early in the day. It would surprise me if there not any peaceful protests.

There was some protesting on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, so they closed down part of the street. However, that was suspected since there was protests in many major cities in America. Other than that, not too different.

In a way it is what people are thinking that is scariest because when it is held inside it is gaining strength and may explode (not sure if it makes sense haha)

Nobody in my town nobody seems to give a flying fig or at least there didn't seem to be any protests but then again it was night time where I am when the trial came to a close and in my neighborhood going out after dark is a no-no.

Too many Facebook wars going on right now lol. Apart from that, I haven't seen anyone respond in the area.

My college is having a protest right now. I am watching it from work. It's been civil, other than. People getting mad that a main pathway on the campus is blocked.

We had a rally on campus that even the local news media showed up at.

Nothing. The closest thing to a protest has been a discussion on it in a couple of my classes to get students more involved in current events.

I know there's a protest going on downtown where i live...i found out about it too late. I would've liked to go to hear other people's opinions/thoughts and to see what a protest is like.

Disappointment, disgust, and disillusionment with the US legal system, already one with a poor reputation.

Obviously, few are so involved as to protest. There are no protesters at the US Embassy, and I highly doubt there will be.

There were some protests here in L.A., and if the shooting itself had occurred in L.A., I'm sure we would've had a repeat of the Rodney King riots.

I'm at my sister's apartment in Albany right now. From the looks of things, I think they might be heading towards the Capitol Building. Let's hope this doesn't get ugly!

Everyone at school talked about it all day, and my best friend seemed terribly worried something bad would happen to me. It was also on the news basically 24/7...

At my work, a lot of people are upset about it (understandably, I think). A lot of sadness, too, at the losses that both parties now face. A man that I went to high school with was cheerful about it. There are a range of emotions about it, but I think that's to be expected. Personally, I am more along the lines of indifferent, with a little bit of general sadness, although not about the grand jury's decision, as I think it was to be expected, but the bigger picture as a whole.

Didn't notice anything out of the normal today. But all I did was go to one class at school.
