    Yay! So happy for him. But of course, I will expect the following comments on all news websites. I haven't read them because I've learned not to, but you guys know the drill...

    "I love gay/lesbian/bi people, but just as long as they keep their sexual preferences to themselves. Why do they need to come out?! I don't shout that I'm straight to everyone!"

    Since it's so rare to see people coming out in sports, this really made my day. I hope he gives courage and hope to others in sport to come out as well :slight_smile:

    Many more MLB Franchises have began supporting the It Gets Better Project over the last four years than any other sports league, and the players and owners tend to be a lot more liberal than other sports.
