    Why is there a picture of the Detroit Renaissance Center, when Detroit isn't even on that list?

    Moreover, why is that same picture representing Chicago? I mean, I love and hate both places, and I've been to both places for conventions, but really? So many Chicago icons, and you go with the Ren Cen?

    Funny list with odd criteria:

    1) NYC is on the list, though too low.
    2) SF, LA, and Miami are NOT on the list, but they should be.
    3) Atlanta has a place on the list. That's about right. If people only knew ...
    4) As for foreign cities, Rio is on the list, and it should be.
    5) Also, Montreal is NOT on the list, and it should be.

    I thought it would be based on which ones are more sexed up. I'm guessing that the criteria is probably the "seven deadly sins." That's why Houston TX is on there. It polls as one of America's fattest (gluttonous) cities and is a haven for foodies from what I've read. Also, big oil might add a significant element of greed to the equation but I don't think Houston should even be in the Top 20.

    Well, New York was 19 and Atlanta was 15. So I made the list either way. (!) :lol:

    I was actually really surprised that Ottawa made the list though :eek:

    It's a government city. Given the number of politicians, bureaucrats, civil servants, and other government employees who all arguably earn more than perhaps they should, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    As much as my Melbournian blood is glad that Sydney is on the list I am disappointed that the article is clearly poor quality as it states Sydney is the capital whereas Camberra is the capital. Whoever made the list needs to do their research.

    And they're saying that Manila is a disgusting, criminal-infested city....but yeah it is so I'm quite surprised it's not in that list.
