All these missing planes in the same general area of the world? Weird.

Exactly what I was thinking except that it's not so weird. Blame the whackos out there in a lot of these cases.

Before this even occurred, I was talking to someone the other day and pondering how there is no trace of that huge Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 to this day. Now THAT is weird.

All of this stuff makes for a very queasy feeling.

Supposedly there are 12 zones around the world where there are magnetic anomalies. They have earned the nickname of "vial vorticies". The Bermuda Triangle is one of these, the area where the two flights have disappeared is another one.

You can look up information on these by googling "vial vorticies", but be warned the science is roughly equivalent to what you find while googling "Bermuda Triangle". The only thing that science knows for sure is that there are weird things that happen there and they have no idea why.

    Nope just an unfortunate coincidence.

Also wreckage wise the seas of the world are quite big, mother nature can be a massive bitch when she wants to and no one know where the planes came down or how the currents in those particular areas are moving. I imagine it would be quite easy for wreckage to get drawn under the service never to appear again.

This one seems eerily like AFR447. Though I am not sure if the A320 uses the same pitot tubes, which had the issue like the A330. Even if it did I would have expected that the pitot tubes would have been upgraded by now. Though even with the upgraded pitot tubes, I could see a scenario, where they could still freeze up.

I wonder how many times I can say pitot tube in this post?
