I'm gonna vote No so hard that a rainbow will burst from my booth and glitters will send everyone in soCal into a Vote-No-on-Prop-8-Love-machine.

Note to soCal people: Please wear a shower cap if you don't want to be infected with glitter for days.

I don't live in California, and I'm too young to vote, but I'll be busy kneeling by my bedside and praying to Jesus to save all Californians from this sinful proposition.

Let's save the institution of family by supporting families everywhere!

    God Bless! ♥

I'm serious. I can't do anything else, so I'll just pray.

A pathetic (not prophetic, mind you) Middle Eastern moralist who was apparently zombified and knew how to do a couple cheap parlor tricks.

hmm...actually, if you really study the "historical jesus" his philosophy differs significantly than current christianity. After taking that class, I realized how his teachings have really been perversed over the years. I respect him as another character in history.

By all means, let's honor the "historical Jesus." I meant the word "pathetic" not in the sense suggesting that Jesus isdeserving of scorn, but rather that his morality is so subdued by his annoying place in Christian mythology that his teachings lose their remarkability. I recently read the so-called Jefferson Bible, however, and gained quite an appreciation for his (supposed) eloquence and secular moralism, yet it is only when divorced from his mythological associations that his teachings become worthwhile.

Anyway, this is way off-topic. Then again, why do we need yet another thread on Prop 8?

I didn't turn 18 too long ago, but I'm glad I did seeing as how I can vote this year. It's obvious what I'm voting for... Most of my friends are voting NO for sure.

:roflmao: I don't think I'm capable of voting No that hard. haha

Well you better try, because even though you're in norCal you're still close enough for me to accost you with glitter personally.

This gives me the idea of being a super-hero who glues and glitters (as opposed to tar and feather) all the hateful people. (And the people not voting hard enough-I'mNotPointingAFingerTowardsVic)

    Cosmic Zombie Jesus!

Ehh, you could wear a No on 8 shirt or make posters or something. The LORD hates us queers and wants to see our blood upon us, remember? Chattin' it up with him doesn't seem too useful to me.
