    This is Zimmerman's third arrest for assault since he has been acquitted of killing Trayvon Martin. This was probably long overdue as well, as domestic assault is a hell of a good reason to take someone's weapons away. I was wondering what everyone else thought of this.

    A domestic assault conviction will prevent him from legally aquiring guns and ammunition, per the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban (Lautenberg Amendment). Let's hope the prosecution officially charges him with the crime and that they obtain a conviction.

    Well, I think he needs to be summarily executed. The constitutional niceities are getting a little ridiculous.

    Since apparently we can't do him justice under the rule of law, we'll have to wait for the "criminal justice system" to work.

    In the meantime, I hope every single person around him will behave with the highest degree of hostility as they are legally able.

    Hopefully this time his wife won't drop the charges. As long as he's a convicted felon and can no longer own a firearm, quite a few people in Sanford, Florida can breathe a little bit easier walking to the party store at night to get a can of pop and some candy...

    I'm glad he's losing his guns, and I hope they lock him away. He's been nothing but a buffoon. How he became a right-wing darling/start says a lot about the US right, none of it good.

    What an attention-hound. Please, please, please, don't let me ever hear about a reality show based on this idiot...it almost seems he's just trying to stay in the public eye, maybe to try to cash in as the next Here Comes Honey-Boo-Boo kinda thing.

    While I'm inclined to stand by his famous self-defense verdict, the guy is a brute and I hope someone gets the chance to thoroughly whip him when he doesn't have a gun.
