LGBT News Bruce Jenner transitioning is "bad for the kids of America"

So, the everything I've been hearing is true? I've seen a few people say the rumors about Jenner are insane lies.

 

Who is Bruce Jenner? Never mind; thanks, Google.

It is very sad that people react that way to him, especially considering they don't seem to publicly denounce as "sinful" the Kardashians TV show, which is a stain on the wholesome picnic-red gingham fabric of American society, the flies spoiling our American apple pie.

 

Do the kids of America even know who the fuck Bruce Jenner is? If they didn't before, they certainly will with all the stink people are raising about it.

 

The thing that's bad for the kids of America is seeing the way the media is making sport of the whole thing. Firstly, Bruce has yet to confirm any of the rumors, he could just like nail polish, doesn't mean he's planning on getting a SRS. If he is trans it could be such a great example for trans kids, but the way he's being publicly humiliated is more likely to scare kids further into the closets - that's whats sad about this situation.

 

Transphobia is what is bad for children, not Bruce Jenner.

 

The way that this has been turned into a media frenzy is annoying. I understand that it is newsworthy, but that does not mean that there needs to be the crazy about of speculation that has gone on. Then again though, I guess that is just tabloids at their best.

I agree with what Biguy said though. Transphobia is what is bad for kids.. not trans people.

 

People need to leave Bruce alone. I think that the person deserves to tell us what pronouns they prefer, and people need to deal with it. I am sick and tired of the infotainment shows mocking this situation. Be proud of who you are.

 

I'm finished with caring what these people have to say about gay and trans people, it's never anything remotely intelligent, and has a complete lack of empirical evidence or detriments to a society by giving rights ro a group of people. Besides, they say the same damn things everytime.

Apparently Bruce Jenner has something to do with the Kardashians so... I guess they do? Idk... Either way, these people need to get the F:***:K with the times and stop the transphobic bullcrap! :tantrum:

 

I believe it's true. Although, there was no official statement from Bruce yet. Bruce's mother seems to be supportive, though.

For starters, I want an official statement before I start to assume because I know how terrible that can be. By Bruce. Not a report from someone else.

Secondly, I am SO tired of all these transphobes. They need to learn that people change. Things change. Expectations are harmful and damaging to those with severe insecurities and that's why people kill themselves. And this goes for everything that people consider different or weird. Gah.

 

The Kardashians are what's wrong with America, not Bruce Jenner. So are Lindsay Lohan, Justin Bieber, and a few others. Wait ... Bieber is what's wrong with Canada.

As for Bruce Jenner, I don't have an opinion. I am surprised and not surprised. I am surprised because he was a fine specimen of a clean cut, handsome guy at one point, thought the hair was a bit much,

passing on some great genes to his son, but not surprised given all the changes we've seen chronicled and photographed. When the rumor mill is on 24/7 about someone famous, they're usually on to something. It's sad when people can't lead private lives. It's his business but that's the price you pay for fame, both for his past as an athlete and for marrying wealth that is constantly under the spotlight.
