Hello, I'm doing a bit of research online about conversion therapy, and because it's such an intense social issue, I'm having a hard time finding where it's legal/illegal because of search results being mostly whether is moral or damaging. I'm writing a paper about the negative effects of the institution and wondering if you guys know which states it's illegal in, (so far I know California has a ban on minors). I would appreciate the help!

Also, is the practice legal in North Carolina? I'm assuming it is, but I can't find any therapists through the web who openly claim to be ex-gay or affiliated with a program like Exodus.
