I've been very emotional the past 2 days, but today i felt empowered going down Wilshire Blvd and protesting against the mormon church. never felt so proud to finally be out and protest along with my community. I'm so proud and happy with being Gay and being able to finally be out. Anyway I just wanted to say that and I'm going to continue with the people of Los Angeles and protest against this. No on H8te.

Oh God! My husband just flipped to Fox news and they were showing the protest saying people are angry. They flipped away and said "if anything got out of hand they would come back to it." God, I hate that channel. Lets not show how people are hurt or angry about their rights being taken away. Let's just make sure we catch any violence on their part.

Fox News is downright detestable. It would be laughably bad if it weren't so disgustingly biased. At least MSNBC is front-and-center about being filled to the lid with liberals. CNN might be one of the only non-partisan news channels left, but it's also one of the least interesting to watch. Maybe because it's actually correct?

I'm so sad I've been in class or at work for all of these protests. I'm glad we're letting it be known that we're not going to stop fighting for our rights just because we lost this battle. And if all else fails the CA coast breaks off into New California. And the two counties in the east can come too.

You don't have to wait until you're 18 until you can change the world or protest. We had so many people under 18 showing their support for no on 8 (and were happy to do it and not bored and forced looking like the yes on 8ers kids)

I wish I got involved sooner.

I was also spotted on the corner rallying for no on 8 with my cousin by my entire family. I let go of any fears of them finding out and waved my sign high and proud. Besides my straight cousin was standing right next to me XD

It's stuff like that that made me wind up blocking Fox News from my channel line-up.

I would so protest if I was in California... Good job for you!

I remember protesting in the cold in March 2003 against the war in Iraq with my parents and it felt so good... imagine this.

So many people in my school are NO on Prop 8 so it's all good
So many also were for Obama
So I might be more comfortable to come out
