    It reminds of the time I went to a baseball game and saw a gay couple there when I was 13 or 14 and thought they were cute together. Which lead to me exploring my sexuality and realizing I was a gay man.

    Precisely! When I first saw the Baltimore Oriole's 3rd baseman Manny Machado, I felt at least 50% more gay. There's some very dreamy players out there...and only about a month 'till opening day.

    ^ Funny enough, whenever people say "David Beckham" I think of Gordon Beckham, who is (or at least was) on the Chicago White Sox.

    He does. Also a nice face. Too bad the ego went to his head. He was a real good hitter. Our best until we got Jose Abreu, who might be our next Frank Thomas (I personally wouldn't count Jim Thome).

    Oh, just another note on the whole "baseball = not gay" thing:

    I watch a baseball anime that was created by an author who had previously done yaoi, and obviously brought some of that into the canon of the anime and manga, primarily into the relationship of the protagonist (the pitcher) and deuteragonist (catcher). One of the characters is bisexual, as well. I've used the protagonist as an avatar once, here. I may do it again, I dunno.
