    I'm honestly torn on this.

    On one hand, it's very interesting.
    For those of us who are transgender, it may be something helpful.

    And there are equally-weighing pros and cons for LGB people, at least.

    The cons are easily that anti-gay people are going to go back to the "It's a choice" argument and hold it as a mantra, like they did 20 years ago.

    So then what are the pros? The pros are that since there may not be a "gay gene" in all this, there won't be any genes to modify, in this case. Diversity still has a chance.

    Actually, I don't see it as a con at all, look at this part in particular:

    The changes in the histone spools can be passed throught generations. It says that inherited traits can be epigenetic, and that doesn't suggest that it had been a choice. :icon_bigg If anything, they'll discover more traits characterised by histone spools rather than DNA itself. =)

    More possibilities of explaining things, and it opens a new field of research (well actually, it gives a boost in this field of research)! :icon_bigg
