LGBT News Nigerian activist's asylum appeal denied as judge doesn't believe she's a lesbian

    She is engaged to a woman from Nigeria who has already been granted asylum (on the basis of her sexuality)... Pretty bizarre that she, Aderonke Apata, has not been granted asylum.

    What. The. Fuck.

    This is outrageous! She literally did everything she could do to prove that she was a lesbian, including demeaning herself by sending them a fucking sex tape as evidence!

    These judges are disgusting. They have created a standard that no LGBT person could ever hope to meet.

    I was very surprised to read it too, especially since the person she's engaged with has been granted asylum on the basis of her sexuality..

    This sounds like something out of Alabama rather than the UK. Is it often that the UK is this discriminatory?
